# Claude Profiles

> A free, open source Windows tray app for people who use more than one Claude Code account. It shows every account's 5-hour and 7-day usage at once, switches the account Claude Code uses in one click, and opens terminals bound to any account. It is a graphical front end for claude-swap, which it bundles, and never handles credentials itself.

## What it solves

- Claude Code is signed in to one account at a time. Changing account normally means /logout, /login and a browser round trip.
- Usage limits (5-hour and weekly) are checked one account at a time, so people hit a limit mid-task without knowing which other account has room.
- Running several accounts at once in separate terminals is awkward without a tool.

## Key facts

- Platform: Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Not available for macOS or Linux.
- Requires: Claude Code only. claude-swap (https://github.com/realiti4/claude-swap) is bundled in the installer, pinned to a tested version, so there is nothing else to install.
- Number of accounts: any. Every account registered with claude-swap gets a card, colour, tray menu entry and name. Keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Alt+1 to Ctrl+Alt+9 cover the first nine.
- Switching changes the account Claude Code uses for new sessions. It does not sign the browser in or out of claude.ai, and closes nothing that is running.
- Privacy: no network code, no telemetry, never reads or writes Claude credential files. Only a short allowlist of cswap commands can run.
- Install: a per-user installer (no administrator rights) or a portable zip, from GitHub Releases. Builds are made by GitHub Actions with SHA-256 checksums and build provenance attestations. The installer is not code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn.
- Licence: MIT. Independent project, not affiliated with Anthropic.
